mindless.co.uk is a personal domain of Sid Rakhada which hosts email accounts and websites for friends and colleagues.
Software technologies used on this site: Perl, Mason, PHP, MySQL, running on a Debian GNU/Linux installation. Hardware wise, this box is a hodge podge of hardware, but the gist of it is some IDE disks, a (not yet burnt) AMD Athlon CPU, about 512MB of RAM. It runs quickly enough for what it does - especially compared to the old box 'reckless' which was an aging (but very reliable!) dual Pentium-166 MMX with 160MB of RAM running on some fast and noisy SCSI disks, with an IDE one thrown in for good measure. |
